Kids are welcome at Midgardsblot!
Midgardsblot is a festival with no lower age limit, but we have certain guidelines to make sure all kids are safe and sound at Midgardsblot.
Kids below the age of 12, an enter the festival for free in company with an adult with a valid ticket. Kids aged 12 and older must have their own ticket to enter the festival. All kids below 16 are not allowed into the festival area without a guardian, and must be registered before entering.
In the case of a sold out festival or where we have few tickets left, ticket buyers are prioritized and we may not have the capacity to allow children under 12 for free due to capacity. This will be notified by the festival in advance if this is a possible scenario
The guardian must be 20 years or older, and can bring max 3 children.
We expect you as an adult to be sober at the festival as long as you have your kids with you. Use common sense on when it is suitable for small children to be at the festival. Even though we encourage the young to be the future Bloters, we need to emphasize that Midgardsblot is first and foremost a party for adults.
- Remember to bring:
- Hearing protection for kids
- Sunscreen
- Extra set of clothes, including rain gear if the weather forecast suggest rain. The weather can change very fast in Horten due to it location near the sea. You can check the local forecast at www.yr.no or dowload the YR app on Google Play/App Store.
- Remember to drink and eat regularly! There will be water stations in the festival area and there is soft drinks available at the bars.
