Insomnia Insights: Stage presence workshop
Appearance on the stage can for someone be an inherent delight, for others a demanding task. As a role of an artist, especially in electronic music changes, evolves and breaks through past concepts really quickly, it is hard to find your own approach. In this workshop we can together focus on question of performance (from perspective of theatre theory), identity, self expression and body and voice. We can find together stereotypes, boundaries and fears which affects our thinking about appearance on the stage, try to open some historical and cultural meanings of performing music and art live before spectators and also sneak peak into feminist perspective of view. I would like to share some practical tips and advice which can help you to find your own way and talk about your experience.
