Future(s) of Dance Education(s) – Opportunities and Challenges

The functions of dance education are changing in tandem with social, cultural and political changes. Therefore, it is timely to reflect critically on and adapt educational practices in dance. Such reflection addresses for example lifelong learning, resilience, embodied and holistic learning, but also the individual willingness to take risks and confront habitual modes of working and go beyond normative boundaries. With this conference we want to illuminate the power of the art of dance in society and in people´s lives.

We invite you to submit a 300-word abstract with your name, your contact information on the top and a 50-word bio by July 1, 2019. Please specify any technical needs for the presentation.

The committee will both be able to expand and narrow the sessions, depending on what we receive and accept. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed and given a response to (accepted / not accepted) before August 20, 2019

The form will close for registration
